Project Overview
PANOU was Leidos’s (former SAIC) chosen subcontractor for the following C4i Projects:
“HELLENIC COAST GUARD SECURITY SYSTEMS”
The project aimed at equipping the Hellenic Coast Guard vessels and the Coast Guard Operations Centers with advanced monitoring, surveillance, communications and automatic identification systems in order to significantly increase the operational capabilities of the Agency and to achieve optimal organization and coordination.
To assist in the goals of the Project, PANOU supplied and installed the following systems:
- Gyrostabilized day & night thermal camera systems (cooled detector technology)
- Day Camera Systems and IR (non-cooled detector technology)
- Portable thermal imagers
- Automatic identification System (AIS), – central management station, base stations, portable Secure AIS vessel systems
- Satellite communication systems, INMARSAT, V-SAT ( fixed base stations and mobile systems)
- IT Equipment
- V-Sat
- AudioVisual Equipment (including several Video Walls at control centers around Greece)
- Marine Radar System
- Mobile Surveillance and Monitoring Center (which included
- External camera system, AIS system, radar & sonar systems, Video conference, Communication systems (TETRA, VHF, VHF Air band, UHF), monitors, video/audio broadcast system – VSAT)
“HELLENIC POLICE FORCEAIRBORNE VIDEO RECEPTION SYSTEM”
Panou was responsible for the supply & installation of the airborne video reception system. The airborne video reception system allows the organized monitoring & incident management, by gathering all the necessary information (image from aerial camera) of borne vehicle and sending them to a control center.
“HELLENIC POLICE FORCE AND FIRE SERVICE MOBILE COMMAND CENTERS”
PANOU provided the specially rearranged vehicles for the Hellenic Police Force And Fire Service which included a meeting room, communications systems room, computer room and rest area for operators. System specifications were designed according to the Hellenic Police and Fire Service needs and requirements.

PANOU was responsible for the supply & installation of the video wall systems and the dedicated furniture for the control rooms at the:
- Hellenic Police Attica Headquarters
- Hellenic Ministry of Shipping and the Aegean and the Hellenic Fire Services in Halandri Patras, Thessaloniki and Crete.
